DR ALISON RIDDICK

Dr Alison Riddick

Dr Alison Riddick obtained her degree in Radiation Oncology from the Colleges of Medicine SA having trained at Groote Schuur hospital. She graduated, with distinction, from UCT with a Masters in Medicine, and holds other postgraduate diplomas from the CMSA. She believes in a multidisciplinary and holistic approach to patient care, with the focus on improving and maintaining her patients’ quality of life.

She is a part-time lecturer at UCT, remaining involved in the academic side of Radiation Oncology training.

Her interests are neuro-oncology, hepatobiliary cancers, breast cancer and head and neck cancers. She has a particular interest in palliative care, and has a PG diploma in palliative medicine from UCT.
